SQUAD TRAINING - WorkShop

The TATU squad is open to all TATU members. You need to train regularly at a TATU club to be a part of the squad. We aim to improve the competitive aspect of your Taekwondo training with like-minded students. You can rely on us to get your physical fitness, technical ability and performance to be taken to a new level. As time goes on, we will sponsor TATU squad members to compete in tournaments across the UK and internationally. Any student who wishes to be considered for selection into the TATU squad is also encouraged to do so.

As we are always seeking new talent who are working their way up the ranks towards the coveted black belt, we also encourage colored belts who want to improve their competitive sparring skills to attend these sessions. Team selection isn't limited to dan grades. The selection criteria includes:

• Performance at competitions.
• Attendance and performance at squad sessions.
• Attitude towards instructors, squad members and competitors.
• Future prospects.
• Fitness level.
• Where applicable, black belt and weight.
